According to event host Kristine Caballero  (Mutya 2002 1st runner up), Alexis’ win is a vindication and blessing at the same time. Rizzini competed in Miss World Philippines and went home empty handed, she also tried Binibining Pilipinas but no luck. She proved that she is not only the most beautiful Mutya in the Philippines but the world’s loveliest queen of tourism! With her towering height, winsome smile and captivating personality, Alexis is truly a queen in all angles. She answered all the questions of members of the press with conviction and sincerity, which is a music to everyone’s ear.

Her father former PBA player Roel Gomez was very proud of her. She said, her father wants to see her competing but his dad cant make it because his dad is sick. Fortunately his brother Kim was there and able to witness her winning moment in Malaysia.

She really enjoyed the pageant since she tried to become friendly to all, Miss Singapore and Miss Paraguay were her closest friends and she missed them so much! Part of her prize is promoting beauty and tourism in Malaysia and she will so her best to promote the Philippines. When asked what makes the Philippines unique? She said “The Philippines is very one of a kind not because of beautiful places and natural wonders but because of its people”

Congratulations Rizzini!
