Ilagan City (Isabela) Farmer, vies for Best Model of the World 2012 Title in Turkey!
Joy Marie Gangan, an eighteen year old, corn farmer from Ilagan City, Isabela is the Official Philippine Representative to the 2012 Best Model of the World Competition to be held in Istanbul Turkey on December 8, 2012.
She will compete alongside more than fifty equally stunning young models from around the world in the competition that maintains one of the highest ratings in the world ranking events and media coverage.
Established in 1987 by Mr. Erkan Ozermen in Istanbul, Turkey, dubbed as “The Paris of the Orient”, the winners of Best Model of the World Title are successfully integrated to the global fashion stage and earned fame and fortune through various brand endorsement and career in advertising and film industry.
“ I feel so great to be crowned Best Model of the Philippines 2012, and go on to represent our country at the International Competition.” Quips Joy during her Send Off Press Conference held last Wednesday, November 27, 2012 at the posh ACE Hotel and Suites in Pasig City.
It is my prevent hope and prayer that our good Lord will guide me to victory and be an inspiration to other young people, dreams do really come true if you work hard and put yourself in the trust of our Lord, imagine from being a farmer to a model it’s really such a big turn around.” Joy adds further.
In preparation for her International Competition, Joy underwent rigid training on fashion styling, catwalk and personality development under the careful guidance of Top Fashion and Ramp Model and Reigning Mrs. Universe Philippines Ms. Joy Castillo and her mentor discoverer, Fashion Designer Mitch Membrere and Pageant Expert Mr. Francis Calubaquib.
With her towering height, dusky complexion, exotic look and the innocence of youth, Joy Marie Gangan, the farmer who dream big dream is now ready to conquer a new fields of endeavor and become The Next Best Model of the World for 2012.
